LNG Floating storage terminal, Regasification & CCGT Power Plant (Delimara Power Station)

  •  Assisted in the permitting process for the commissioning & operational phase of the Delimara power plant & LNG Terminal.

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities as required. (COMAH, OHSA, Transport Malta, Planning Authority & ERA (Environmental & Resources Authority.) MRA, REWS on QHSE matters of the project.

  • Review of Site safety studies & COMAH / Seveso III gap analyses.

  • Developed & implemented with site teams, QHSE Management Systems in the construction, commissioning and operations for the project.

  • Developed, implement & participated in audit plans for internal, external, client & regulators audits

  • Develop public information booklet on Delimara power plant & LNG terminal as per COMAH requirements.

  • Developed Marine pollution prevention plan for Oil spill response.

  • Support the electrical & maintenance teams with A & B turbine inspections.

  • Support the implementation of ISO14001 & ISO 45001 management systems.

  • Ensuring compliance with QHSE responsibilities,

  • Monitoring emissions to comply with EU regulations.

  • Monitoring of documentation and ensuring targets are met in a timely manner.

Offshore drilling (Total, Tullow, Ensco, Energy, Exxon & Gazprom)

  • Support included maintaining professional relationships with other officers & clients to ensure experience transfer between rigs and verifying the efficiency of the QHSE management system on board.

  • Verify that the QHSE management systems used onboard are efficient and adequate to achieve compliance requirements & clients expectations.

  • Onboard training for the crew and assist in organizing QHSE meetings and emergency drills.

  • Facilitate and participate in working environment chartings carried out on-board

  • Perform internal audits in accordance with Solas & Marpol audits onboard vessel fleet.

  • Support in the delivery of rig moves from Shipyard to point of drilling campaign.

  • Support with in flight helicopter mobility & management of POB systems.

  • Assisted in maintenance on Offshore equipment, certification of heavy lifting equipment, non-destructive testing and much more.

  • Development of training plans for Drilling Simulators - Well Control courses at the Academy

  • Implementing Lean Processes to documentation to reduce time consumed on non-priority sections while improving the quality and efficiency of the documentation.
