We are pleased to announce our active involvement in supporting GE Vernova during the commissioning phase of the Sofia Offshore Wind Farm's converter platform. Located on Dogger Bank in the North Sea, approximately 195 kilometers from the UK's northeast coast, the Sofia project stands as one of the world's largest single offshore wind farms, boasting a capacity of 1.4 gigawatts. Upon its expected commissioning in 2026, it will generate enough renewable energy to power approximately 1.2 million UK homes.
